The installation, use and maintenance of gear box

1、Use the ring screw to lift the gear box.

2、 Gear box's transportation, storage should pay attention to moisture, if not installed within half a year after arrival, should be exposed to the processing surface to re-apply anti-rust oil, beware of rust.

3、The gear box should be installed on a flat foundation.In the case of uniform tightening of the anchor screw, it should be ensured that the screw inserted into the output shaft can rotate evenly without stuck, so as not to increase the additional stress to the output shaft bearing and affect the bearing's life.Don't forcibly install or remove the screw.The power input of the gear box above 420 (including 420) is only allowed to be connected with a coupling.When installing, ensure that the installation error of the coupling does not exceed the allowable range when the anchor screws are fastened.It is not allowed to centralize the coupling first and tighten the anchor screw later when the foot support is not adjusted, so as to avoid excessive additional torque to the input shaft.395 below (including 395) specifications, the triangular belt can be used to input power.The high strength narrow V-belt or combined narrow V-belt should be used, and the triangle belt wheel should be all turned to make the rotation balance.Using a high-strength narrow V-belt, the tension is reduced and the center of the resultant force is close to the inside of the input shaft. It is very beneficial to reduce the additional bending moment acting on the outer section of the front bearing fulcrum.Under the initial installation of the triangle belt, the center point of the tight edge of the triangle belt can be pressed under 2~ 3 kg of external force, and the deformation of 8~ 10mm can occur. Because the center distance of the hard gear box is small, it can not be configured with large bearings, and the journal is also thin. Whether the tension of the coupling on the neutral triangle belt meets the above requirements will directly affect the life of input shaft and bearing, and even the life of the whole machine.

4、After the gear box is installed, fill lubricating oil to the center line of the oil mark (both gears and bearings are lubricated with pool wetting and splash lubrication, using medium press gear oil N220 or other high-quality lubricating oil with similar viscosity).The oil level should be determined after the lubricating oil is evenly distributed in the box, the oil level should be checked frequently, and in any case, the oil level should not be lower than the oil marker position, and the oil should be changed once after 300 to 600 hours of use.Then the oil should be changed every 3,000 to 4,000 hours. The replacement should be discharged when the gear box is stopped and the lubricating oil has not cooled. The gear box should be washed with the same quality oil. If it is not suitable for washing due to high viscosity, heat it first. In the oil circuit with forced lubrication, it is equipped with highly advanced and perfect self-sealing oil suction filter. The gear box equipped with the filter should be stopped regularly (about one month) to clean or replace the filter element (when the filter opens the front cover and removes the filter element, the self-sealing valve installed in the filter will close itself, cut off the oil circuit, and prevent the oil storage of the tank from flowing out).

5、The gear box equipped with the forced lubrication of the oil pump, in the initial stage of driving, may cause insufficient oil intake due to high oil viscosity and large oil absorption resistance of the oil pump, and emit too high noise.This phenomenon generally disappears by itself after the lubricating oil temperature rises. In normal operation, if the noise of the oil pump increases, the general situation may be that the oil line resistance is too large. In this case, clean the filter and other related components.No matter what type of gear box, when it is not used for more than 24 hours or when the temperature is too low, it should run empty for a period of time, until the bearings are fully lubricated before loading and running.
