Trouble shooting and solution of gear box

1、Malfunction:Noise variation

Reason:Gear damaged; gear clearance bigger; bearings damaged.

Method:Check the gear,change the damaged part; adjust the clearance; replace the damaged bearing.

2、Malfunction:Loud noise from fixed position of gear box

Reason:Looseness of the fixed part.

Method:Use the specified torque to tighten bolts or screws; replace the damaged bolts or screws.

3、Malfunction:High temperature in bearing

Reason:Outer shell oil level low; oil ageing; bearing damaged; oil pump damaged.

Method:Checked the oil level,add the oil when it's below the level; check the time of nearest oil replacement, maybe the oil should be replaced; check the function of oil pump,maybe need to be changed; check the bearing,maybe need to be changed.

4、Malfunction:Dirty oil in gear box; oil leak from the shell

Reason:Seal is not good.

Method:Sealed the surface.

5、Malfunction:Found water in engine oil

Reason:Engine oil produced foam.

Method:Check the oil whether contain water via reagent glass sample; check the engine oil via chemical laboratory, wash and change.

6、Malfunction:Working temperature raise up

Reason:Oil level is too high; oil aging; bearing damaged; bearing damaged.

Method:Check the oil level adjust it accordingly; check the time of nearest oil replacement, manybe need to replace engine oil; check the function of oil pump, maybe need to change; check the bearing, maybe need to change.
